Learn more about a new potential non-surgical treatment option for people living with foot nodules due to Plantar Fibromatosis.

About the
Clinical Study

What Is Plantar Fibromatosis?
Plantar Fibromatosis is a condition in which one or more slow-growing nodules (lumps) form on the bottom of the foot, usually on the sole or arch.
- As the nodules grow, they can cause pain, discomfort, swelling, and difficulty with walking if left untreated
- The current treatment options for Plantar Fibromatosis are focused on relieving pain and swelling
- Removal of modules may require surgery or radiation therapy

Clinical studies are needed
to find new treatment options

Why take part in a clinical study?
Clinical studies around the world help doctors and researchers discover new potential medical options for people, including medicines, devices, and procedures. What we learn through research may help us find new ways of preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases.

Why take part in a clinical study?
Clinical studies around the world help doctors and researchers discover new potential medical options for people, including medicines, devices, and procedures. What we learn through research may help us find new ways of preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases.

What Is the Clinical Study?
The goal of the study is to learn more about a new potential nonsurgical treatment option for Plantar Fibromatosis.

Participants in the study will receive an investigational study drug, which is given as an injection directly into the foot nodule

Researchers in this study will determine whether the study drug may help reduce or improve foot nodules associated with Plantar Fibromatosis

The study will enroll about 24 men and women at study sites around the United States
What does participating
in the study involve?

Participating in the study may take about 2 months

The study includes a screening period to see if you may qualify, an overnight stay at the study site to receive the study treatment, and 5 follow-up visits

Throughout the study, you will undergo different tests and assessments to see how you are responding to the study treatment and to monitor your health

If you take part in the study, it is possible that your Plantar Fibromatosis may get better, but it is also possible that it may not
Am I Eligible
for the Clinical Study?
You may be eligible to take part in the Clinical Study if you:*

Are aged 18 years and older

Have a diagnosis of Plantar Fibromatosis, with only 1 firm or hard nodule per foot

Are willing to participate for a period of about 2 months, which includes 1 overnight visit to receive the study treatment and 5 follow-up visits

Agree not to use any other treatments for your Plantar Fibromatosis while in the study
